The operatives of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi detachment in cooperation with the National Police stopped the activities of a group of people involved in the illegal trafficking of men of conscription age abroad using forged documents.

As it turned out, three residents of Odesa region set up a so-called "travel agency" to realize their illegal intentions. They found their "clients" both through a closed telegram channel and using their friends. The price for such a "trip" abroad was USD 3,500.

Within the criminal proceedings, authorized searches were conducted at the residences, offices and vehicles of the defendants in the case. As a result, material evidence (documentation, office equipment, telephones, and bank cards) was withdrawn, and in addition, psychotropic substances prohibited for free circulation – amphetamine and cannabis – were withdrawn as well.

At present, three members of the criminal group are reportedly suspected of committing a criminal offense and house arrest has been chosen as a measure of restraint. In addition, the criminals will have to take responsibility for the possession of narcotic substances.
